Deepa Soul is a 3 time top five Billboard Chart topping artist, a Native of New Orleans, and she's a one woman tour de force heading up her 18 piece band, The Love Soul Orchestra, which is a rare find in the music industry today.

 

The album is entitled "Creole Woman (Rebirth of a Love Evolution)" is her homecoming Live Album Recording at the the Historic Carver Theater. It's her homage to the culture she was raised to always incorporate into the various genres of music she has mastered. Her goal is to combine her training in traditional music, House/Electronic Dance Music, Funk, Rock & Soul with spoken word.  Today, record labels rarely sign artists like Deepa Soul & The Love Soul Orchestra. Record Executives no longer promote the great art form of full walls of sound like Earth, Wind & Fire, or Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra but Ms. Soul is determined to make it her own way to preserve the art of playing LIVE on stage with strings, horn sections, bass, lead & rhythm guitar, piano, keys & organ, drums, percussion, vocals and a DJ on certain shows.
